Modern slavery statement
Financial year ending 2027. Published voluntarily.
Why we publish this
Marchward Services Limited is below the turnover threshold at which section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires a statement. We publish one anyway. We advise on security and the rule of law, and a firm in that business should be able to answer the question without being compelled to.
Our business
Marchward Services Limited is a United Kingdom advisory company, company number 17439048. We provide assessment, capability development and operational planning advice to governments and institutions. We hold no inventory, operate no manufacturing, and our supply chain consists principally of professional associates, travel and accommodation, and standard business services.
Where the risk sits
The principal risk in our supply chain is in accommodation, ground transport and local support services procured in jurisdictions where labour protections are weak. It is a real risk and we do not treat it as a formality.
What we do about it
Associates are engaged directly, on written terms, and paid directly. We do not engage personnel through labour brokers or unnamed intermediaries. Where local services are procured in the course of an engagement, we use suppliers nominated or already used by the client wherever possible, and we raise anything that concerns us with the client rather than quietly moving on.
Reporting
Anyone with a concern about labour practices in connection with our work may write to enquiries@marchwardservices.com. Concerns can be raised anonymously and we will not seek to identify the sender.
Approval
This statement is made by the board of Marchward Services Limited and will be reviewed annually.
